This course sod-forming “ sod dog” is the best choice for the Extreme customer looking for a heavy traffic lawn.
The thick dense turf crowds out other grasses and most weeds. It prefers a sunny environment but can handle some shade. The HT HOUND DOG is deep green in color and is classified as low maintenance.
HT HOUND DOG can be allowed to grow as tall as 3 1/2 inches between mowing.
Best used in commercial projects, play grounds or perimeter to expansive heavy use areas.
