KEEPING
THE
GRASS GREEN
Watering in the early morning (7:00 am) is the best time of the day the pours of the soil are at the correct temperature for proper absorption and the water pressure is optimum.
To grow vigorously, an established lawn requires, on the average, about an inch of water per week during the height of growing season ( this amount varies due to type of lawn soil and climate conditions.)
Water an established well maintained lawn infrequently and deeply, this means the watering should moisten the soil just enough as to promote good deep root growth .
Splitting water applications into 2 or 3 segments is a good goal of effective and efficient saturation.
