TIPS FOR WHITE GRUBS SYMPTOM: In Spring / Late summer (depending on temperature) and or hot spells you will notice irregular dead patches, turf easily lifts up or has been flipped over. Note: Lush, overly moist lawns seem to be common targets. CAUSE: White Grub Damage. Flying insects lay eggs in the lawn, the grubs eat the roots of the lawn causing it to decay and die. Raccoons and skunks dig at the lawn in evening to eat the grubs. SOLUTION: Reduce Grub population Organically by Professional Aeration and drying soil. If you want to eliminate the grubs by chemical you can use a product called Diazinon in late July to September to kill newly hatched insects. Water well after treatment. ALWAYS FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CONTAINER LABEL FOR PROPER SAFETY AND APPLICATION. HOME TURF INC Creating Your Field Of Dreams |
